It is our understanding The Starfish Program has received City Approval to move into the old Quilters H.Q./Aldi’s building. But they are not approved to operate until the City Approves a Special use permit.

It is our understanding do to a Typo, a SECOND Invite has been mailed w/a July 6th meeting date. It will post after it arrives.
The Special use permit will first go before the Planning Commission. City Council can agree or override the Planning Commission w/simple majority. If a Protest Petition is filed, City Council will require Super majority.

SECTION 10. TRASH, GARBAGE AND LITTER
No burning of any trash and no accumulation or storage of litter, lumber, scrap metals, refuse, bulk materials, waste, or trash of any other kind shall be permitted on any lot. Trash and garbage containers shall not be permitted to remain in public view except on days of trash collection. No incinerator shall be kept or maintained on any lot. Garbage, trash and other

This time of year, we always start getting more calls from Briarwood residents complaining about boats, trailers, and campers parked in their neighborhood. Deed restrictions that apply to all properties in Briarwood state:
SECTION 13. VEHICLES, EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY
No junk vehicle, no commercial vehicle, trailer, truck, van, camper, camp truck, house trailer, boat or other machinery or equipment of any kind or character (except for such equipment and/or machinery as may be reasonable, customary and usual in connection with the construction, use or maintenance of any Lot) shall be kept in the subdivision or upon any lot, unless kept in a garage which is an approved part of the residential structure and providing that when stored the garage door can be and is closed, nor (except for bona fide emergencies) shall the repair nor extra-ordinary maintenance of automobiles or other vehicles be carried out thereon
